Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: Orlando FL ( Day 1 Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

An Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance integrity and security of Oracle databases. The role involves installation configuration monitoring and troubleshooting of database systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

Install configure and maintain Oracle database environments
Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies
Perform database backup and recovery operations using RMAN
Manage database security users roles and privileges
Ensure high availability through RAC Data Guard or replication setups
Perform patching upgrades and migrations of Oracle databases
Troubleshoot database issues and provide quick resolution
Monitor system health storage and capacity planning
Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripts or PL/SQL
Work with application teams to optimize SQL queries

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later)
Experience with RMAN Data Guard and RAC
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
Experience with backup recovery and disaster recovery planning
