What Youll Be Doing

• Design build and maintain backend services and APIs for a new product
• Develop scalable microservices handling high-volume financial data and workflows
• Own data modelling persistence strategies and service boundaries
• Improve system performance observability and reliability
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define clear API contracts
• Write clean well-tested maintainable backend code
• Participate in code reviews architecture discussions and technical planning
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to backend best practices
• Help evolve our backend architecture as we scale

• You have strong experience building backend systems and APIs
• You think in terms of systems trade-offs and long-term maintainability
• You care about performance scalability and reliability
• You enjoy solving complex data and workflow problems
• Youre comfortable owning backend components end-to-end
• You collaborate well and communicate technical ideas clearly
• You enjoy mentoring and raising the bar for engineering quality
