Position Overview

Due to continued business growth we are currently recruiting a Geospatial Engineerto join ourGeospatial Engineering Departmenton a permanent basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a range of high-profile projects in the fast-paced Geospatial industry while leveraging their expertise in construction and surveying.

What You Will Do

• Staking/Setting out for different trades in construction.
• Prepare and analyse data for set-out for yourself and others
• Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such as Total Stations GNSS UAV HDS imaging tools GPS Data Collectors.

• Ability to understand and complete survey capture and control works.

• Record surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope

• Perform detailed field and office surveying work

• Utilisation of post processing software
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and various stakeholders ensuring we deliver projects to exact customer requirements.
• Any other duties as required by the business.

What You Will Bring

• Have relevant qualifications (Surveying Geomatics or Engineering) and/or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying and geospatial engineering especially control networks.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
• Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology.
• Experience working in infrastructure and construction.
• Experience with HD Laser Scanning technology and software (desired but not essential).
• Experience with machine control (desired but not essential).
• Possess a full clean UK/ International Drivers licence
• Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
• Possess a CSCS card or be prepared to start the process
• The right to work in the UK.
