Panel Technician
Job Overview: Our Des Moines client is seeking to add a Panel Technician to their team. The Panel Technician is a hands-on assembler of industrial control panels and electrical assemblies. This position requires the knowledge of electricity blue print reading and electrical measurement.
This is a Direct Hire role.
What you will be doing as a Panel Technician
- Assemble electrical control panels using hand tools and machines as assigned while under the direction of others.
- Adhere to construction schedules.
- Adhere to NEC UL or CE code.
- Read and understand detailed schematics blueprints parts lists etc.
- Monitor supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level anticipating needed supplies.
- Monitor personal quality measures are being met.
- Completion of an Associates degree program in a related discipline from an accredited college technical school or university; or
- Other equivalent education and experience combinations will be considered with solid evidence of success.
- Demonstrated to be proficient with computer technologies including but not limited to Windows Operating Systems and the use of Microsoft Office Word Excel and Outlook.
- Mechanical or electrical assembly experience.
- Electrical trade experience.
- Knowledge of UL NEC or other electrical standards.
