About the role

We are looking for aSpecialist Project Engineerto provide engineering leadership acrossSustaining Capital NonProcess Infrastructure (NPI)projects through the full project lifecycle.

This is a great opportunity for anexperienced and motivated project engineerto lead multidisciplinary engineering scopes and drive fitforpurpose outcomes on challenging and highprofile projects. This role isPerthbased operating Monday to Friday withad hoc site travelrequired depending on project phase.

Reporting to thePrincipal Project Engineerand working in adiverse and collaborative teamwithinEngineering Management Sustaining Capital you will be:

  • Supporting Study Leads and Project Leads by providingproject engineering leadershipfor NPI projects

  • Engaging and managingEngineering Service Providers including performance management

  • Drivingfitforpurpose engineering solutions including facilitating value engineering workshops

  • Ensuring engineeringconformance to standards specifications and governance requirements

  • Providing leadership through thecoaching of project engineersand the application of sound engineering judgement

  • Engaging with stakeholders includingsubject matter experts operations asset management and delivery teams

  • Facilitating and participating infield investigationsas required

About you

You are an engineering leader who can managehighrisk engineering outcomesacross studies execution and closeout with a strong focus on safety quality and continuous improvement. You will also have:

  • A commitment to thesafety of yourself and your team

  • Demonstrated proficiency inproject engineering with the ability to challenge influence and support engineering decisions

  • Significant exposure toNonProcess Infrastructure projectswithin a relevant engineering discipline

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams

  • Leadership capability including experiencecoaching and mentoring engineers

  • A drive to continuously improveengineering practices across the project portfolio
