PSE Day Fitter (AU)
Job Summary
The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Lead and working alongside of your fellow Day Shift Fitters from Monday to Friday 6.45am-3.15pm your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- On-going maintenance of machinery equipment and services to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production Quality Spoilage).
- Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime.
- Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic leading by example and setting standards for the health safety and wellbeing.
- Drive a high-quality standards and culture.
About You
- Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.
- Experience in high-speed Manufacturing 24/7 production environments (3-5 years)
- Maintenance experience preventative maintenance planning and corrective maintenance systems
- Ability to troubleshoot control systems and mechanical faults on equipment.
- A good understanding of mechanical systems motors pumps conveyors compressors air systems.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Be able to meet requirements of Ororas pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing
