DataScienceLeadplaysakeyroleofdataanalyticsbyproposingsuitabledatabaseandeffectiveanalyticalmethodsandprovidinginterpretationofresultsforallAlexionemployees.
DataScienceLeadreportstoDirectorofEvidenceandObservationalResearch.
DataScienceLeadcollaboratesandcontributestoallAlexionconductingevidencegenerationdatabaseresearchwithregardtoplanninganddataanalytics
DataScienceLeadassessesstudydesign/targetpopulation/datasource/datahandling/analyticalmethodandgivesuitableinputsfromanepidemiologicalpointofview

Lead/co-leadingofobservational/databaseresearchanddataanalytics

Toinputanalysismethoddatahandlingandinterpretationtootherdivisions
Assessmentofstudydesign/targetpopulation/datasource/datahandling/analyticalmethodandgivesuitableinputsfromanepidemiologicalpointofview
Toreviewplansofobservational/databaseresearchandsupportfornecessarydocumentations(studydesignconceptclinicalstudyprotocolstatisticalanalysisplanetc.)
Tolearninnovativemethodologyandchallengetoimplementthosetoourstudies/researches
Oversightofvenders(timelinemanagementqualityofoutputsresource&budget)
Tooverseevenderperformancestoachieveresponsiblestudieseffectively
Togivefeedbacks&getfeedbacksfromvendersforconstructingagoodrelationshipwithvenders
Tofindefficientwaysformultipletasks(e.g.makestandarddocumentsandproposethereuseofprograms)
Survey&assessthenecessaryinformationfordatabaseandrecommenddatabasethatfitsforresearch/analyticalpurpose

Youwillneedtohave:
Advanceddegree:PhDorMasterdegreeinpublichealthorequivalent(individualsholdingMD/biological/pharmaceuticalsciencedegreemaybeacceptablebutshouldhavehadthesufficientexperiencespecializedinclinicaldevelopment/epidemiologicalresearch).MDdegreeisdesirableontopofthepublichealth
5-10yearsofrelevantexperienceinaPharmaceuticalcompany
DesignanalysisinterpretandpublishresearchesforDataScience/Epidemiology/clinical
Planningmanagingand/orleadinggroupofindividualsresponsibleforconductingclinical/epidemiologicresearchanalysisofdatareadingofthedataforefficacysafetyclinicaleffectivenessandepidemiologicalassessments(acceptableeveniftheleadershipisprimarilyfocusedonthescientificfeatures)
Reviewingassessingandusingreal-worlddatafortheresearchpurposestoaddressclinical/researchquestions
NetworkingintegratingandusingEMR(electronicmedicalrecords)/HER(electronichealthrecord)datafortheclinical/epidemiologicalresearch
Usingandapplyingbioinformaticsmethodologiestoanalyzemedicalbigdata/database/scientificresearch
Abilitytoapplyappropriatestudydesign&analyticalmethodstoobservational/Epidemiological/pragmaticinterventionalstudiestocombinebusinessandscientificagenda
