What Youll Do:

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the Wet Chem laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples.

Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation
Document activities and report results accurately and concisely
Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables chemicals and parts for instrumentation
Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas

Other duties as required

What Youll Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent
A Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred but not required
1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred
