We have a customer in Tucson AZ who has an immediate DIRECT HIRE opening for a well-qualified and experienced Project Manager for Mechanical/Mineral Processing Operations. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position please click APPLY NOW.

In this role you will be involved as a Project Manager for Mineral Processing operations involved with all aspects of large mineral processing equipment and facilities used for mining projects including design of capital equipment operations maintenance facilities production drawing reviews commissioning continuous improvement and supervision support. This individual should have a broad background and understanding of concrete and steel structures large mining equipment (pumps conveyors crushers screening washing equipment mills etc.) as well as ability to work with and understand Civil Electrical piping safety issues operations outside contractors and vendors and more. This position is a combination of Field work and inside Project Management and operations support.

This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE onsite position in Tucson AZ.

Compensation for this role is in the $120000.00 to $180000.00 range depending on experience level.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

BS Degree in Mechanical Mining Metallurgical Engineering or similar with 10--15 years experience in Project Management for mineral processing plants and equipment in AZ NV and CA.
Experience as a Project Manager handling multiple projects and providing employee supervision
Strong background and experience with mining operations large heavy equipment (pumps conveyors crushers washing equipment mills etc.) maintenance and continuous process improvement
Ability to do review engineering drawings scope of work charter and bidding documentsand work with Civil Electrical Structural and other Engineering disciplines
Experience with MS Project or similar and have experience with operations maintenance sub-contractors scheduling labor etc. for large mineral processing operations
Strong communication skills and interest and experience in both office and field work and doer mentality
