What youll build
The Solution Sales Manager SAP Business Technology Platform Public Energy & DMI (f/m/d) builds trust and manages strategic executive relationship with customers buying center CXOs to address customers business challenges driving demand for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and accelerating deal velocity through transformative sales motions. SAP BTP is an open modular platform that combines integration application development automation and AI to enable businesses to quickly create and operate innovative intelligent and scalable business applications true to our motto #ThinkPlatform.
As a First Line Leader you will play a key role in combining leadership and operational expertise to steer and transform a highly motivated team. You will be responsible for delivering business results through proactive customer engagement within the Customer Value Journey.
A strong understanding of business KPIs will be essential as you will take charge of all relevant metrics and tools. Your comprehensive knowledge will empower data-driven decision-making and enable the optimization of strategic execution to achieve exceptional results.
- Develop people: Actively develop team members through timely actionable feedback and coaching to help them succeed and grow. Create high-performing teams by fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and can contribute their best
- Drive Transformation:Advance our strategic priorities by inspiring and leading individuals teams and the organization to embrace and enact change. Understand evolving customer expectations and industry dynamics to inform and adapt our strategies
- Deliver results: Achieve short-term objectives without losing sight of SAPs long-term goals and committment to ethical business. Translate SAPs strategy into actionable plans for own business area to support our long-term success. Anticipate and proactively act on the changing needs of our customers employees and shareholders
- Build trust and relationship with CXO:Build trust via collaboration and executive relationship and ensure a continued path to success through the Customer Value Journey
- Position value through solutions:Understand customers business challenges and bring in domain and process expertise to provide strong PoV as well as to position the value
- Drive demand and revenue via GTM strategy: Focus on demand generation via GTM strategy accelerate deal velocity and grow strategic footprint for BTP solutions
What you bring
- Leadership and operational excellence:Demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams inspiring them to excel in roles such as Solution Sales Executives (SSE) to achieve targets;Experience leading teams through periods of change with empathy and a positive spirit ensuring alignment with thestrategicbusinessvision
- Account management: Several years of proven success in customer relationship management sales and cloud subscription revenue; Experience in driving solution adoption at the account creating roadmap for solutions enabling value realization and promoting sustained solution-led expansion
- Functional and industry expertise:Deep understanding of cloud software solutions delivery models and challenges as well as involvement in complex global transformation programs in consulting or advisory roles; Strong knowledge and experience in industries such as Public Energy & Services with the ability to provide tailored expertise in these sectors
- Soft skills:Strategic thinking with high degree of creativity and innovation; Ability to build long-term trust-based relationships with stakeholders; Taking charge of all relevant metrics and tools ensuring you possess a comprehensive understanding that empowers data-driven decision-making and optimizes strategic execution
- SAP specific knowledge:Deep understanding of SAP BTP offerings; Broad understanding of SAP solutions portfolio and the business processes they enable are a plus; Demonstrated ability to work within complex organizational structures managing risks de-escalating critical customer situations and navigating SAPs support processes systems and tools
- Language proficiency:Fluency in German and English alongside excellent communication and presentation abilities as part of your core toolkit
