As India New Build Quality Leader you will be responsible for Quality function for India New Build organization and will drive continuous improvement ensuring operational excellence and embedding a culture of quality across the organization.You will have complete oversight of India new build quality function and will be working closely with India New Build Leader collaborate with all stakeholders across the organization work cross-functionally with C&C Engineering Sourcing EHS Commercial and Project Management and PMO to improve Safety Quality Delivery and Cost while enhancing customer satisfaction and ensure meeting stringent industry and customer quality standards. This role owns the Quality Management System (QMS) for the India new build organization including project sites drives quality culture and ensures safe reliable and compliant execution that meets or exceeds customer regulatory and business requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
o Develop and implement strategic quality roadmaps aligned with overall business objectives and customer needs including goal setting operating rhythms and project execution.
o Establish maintain and update quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001. Including overseeing the planning and execution of internal and external audits.
o Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and efficiency.
Process Improvement & Implementation:
o Drive and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate waste in workflows.
o Drive culture of detailed root cause analysis of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Use PDCA A3 8D and Kaizen to tackle recurring quality issues and delays.
Leadership & Culture:
o Drive a culture of continuous improvement problem-solving and accountability at all levels of the organization.
o Coach train and mentor employees and teams on quality standards lean principles and the use of quality improvement tools and techniques.
o Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality expectations are integrated throughout the project lifecycle from engineering to supplier management to customer up to final closure of projects.
o Champion a culture of SQDC in all new build operations first-time-right execution proactive risk management and zero-defect mindset.
Support project managers site leads and PMO in applying quality principles to their daily operations.
Data Analytics & Performance Management
Define and monitor quality parameters and KPIs relevant to India new build organization such as NCR resolution and closure NCR calibration rework internal and external escapes customer complaints cost of poor quality etc.
Use data and analytics to identify trends systemic issues and set priorities.
Provide regular dashboards and reviews for site and business leadership like Monthly Quality & CI performance reviews project tracking and savings validation.
Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree in engineering with a minimum of 12 years of experience extensive experience (typically 5 years) in project quality in EPC / EP projects quality management operations leadership role ideally within the power sector in EPC environment.
Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
A results-driven mindset with strong project and change management skills.
Demonstrated leadership capability with proven ability to drive energize and develop cross functional teams in high impact technology or project environments.
