Job Summary
Essential functions of this job include but are not limited to:
- Learns new tasks remembers processes maintains focus completes tasks independently makes timely decisions in the contexts of workflows and is able to complete tasks that have a speed and/or productivity quota.
- Creates the client in-program fee obligation/subsistence for each client in residential facilities.
- Works with Client Accounts Supervisor to enter direct deposits for TC/TT clients as they are deposited in the Oriana House bank account.
- Enters each residential working clients paystubs in ORION and tracks each working client to ensure they are submitting all of their paystubs prior to release. Creates advanced subsistence for the applicable clients prior to their release and notifies programming staff of the amount owed.
- Follows up with clients/programming staff regarding missing paystubs and short paid per diems.
- Works with clients and programming staff to create a payment plan for a clients fees from their previous placements.
- Assists clients in completing Financial Transaction Requests to ensure they have adequate funds to pay all fees and make necessary withdrawals. Gives Financial Transaction Requests to appropriate staff for approval.
- Checks Client Accounts Assistants daily banking spreadsheets to ensure all payments and withdrawals were completed in ORION and noted on the daily banking spreadsheet.
- Approves debit card loads for all Summit County regional facilities and saves the approved loads on the client accounts drive in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assists Client Accounts Assistants with ensuring clients ORION accounts are up to date.
- Assists Client Accounts Assistants in closing clients accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Is available to fill in for Client Accounts Assistants as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Book keeping experience preferred. Word processing and data entry skills required. Ability to use Excel spreadsheets efficiently to perform calculations and process data. Must have strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented. Must have the cognitive skills needed to complete tasks including abilities such as learning remembering focusing categorizing and integrating information for decision making problem solving and comprehending. Has the ability to perform under stress and/or in emergencies. Must possess valid Ohio drivers license reliable transportation and a driving record that does not preclude the employee from being covered by Agency liability insurance. Must have the ability to effectively work with Agency employees and outside contacts.
