QHSE Analyst
Responsibilities / Tasks
The QHSE Analyst will implement and execute all activities defined in the QHSE strategy and within the QHSE annual plan according to defined budget and looking forward to compliance with local legislation customer requirements and GEA QHSE Policies. This position will work in close collaboration with local managers and individual contributors to minimize risks and to avoid accidents.
Implement and execute QHSE activities defined at QHSE strategy and Annual Working Plan.
Ensure application of safety and environmental measures during project/service execution (at the workshop or at customer site).
Plan and provide QHSE training onboardings safety talks and/or awareness journeys to GEAs employees newcomers or contractors.
Perform or support Accident Investigations.
Ensure implementation of all GEAs Safety core rules and requirements enforced on customer sites.
Execute inspections and audits at GEAs offices and workshops projects and/or customer sites.
Further development and implementation of local QHSE management system and storage records related to QHSE programs and management system implementation.
Plan and execute maintenance and calibration schedule.
EPPs or EPIs delivery and administration.
Develop and update safety procedures and rules.
Supervise contractors and subcontractors on HSE matters.
Update the legal requirements matrix (NOMS STPS SEMARNAT PROFEPA - IMSS etc) and analyze it for proper compliance.
Report monthly QHSE KPIs
Support local managers projects execution and regional QHSE responsible in all matters of Occupational Health and Safety
Provide HSE Support with business unit managers.
Ensure that the local office is compliant with corporate customers local and legal QSHE requirements.
Internal and external communication of lessons learned and improvements.
Maintain a risk-oriented approach with comprehensive and proactive actions regarding HSE.
Installation organization and maintenance of appropriate local HSE requirements such as first aid health monitoring fire protection PPE etc.
Coordination of safety measures with all functional units.
Elaborate hazard/risk assessments and definition of control measures.
Assures appropriate hazardous materials management.
Cooperation with various authorities and institutions in subjects regarding QHSE.
Follow up on Nonconformance/Corrective Actions and key performance indicator.
Your Profile / Qualifications
HSE education or other technical education with substantial QSHE background a standard the candidate must have practical experience of at least 3 years in related QSHE activities for industrial companies and must have successfully conducted a course or training for safety-related technical knowledge approved by accident insurance institutions or by other recognized authorities.
Minimum level: Bachelors degree/Engineering degree completed
3 years of experience working as an QHSE Analyst.
A2 English.
