Job Summary
Strategize the development and manage the execution of member and business acquisition retention and relationship-building marketing campaigns programs and special initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department leads and executives to create effective growth strategies.
- Generate and execute campaigns for member and business acquisition retention and relationship building using targeted campaigns and other marketing avenues
- Prepare thorough campaign plans including market research targeting criteria channel strategy and schedule and goals
- Manage the development and execution of multiple campaigns concurrently
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives and provide meaningful analysis and insight for future efforts
- Evaluate and utilize third-party data for increased member and business acquisition and retention.
- Help develop marketing matrices to track and report efforts
- Manage Commercial Services sponsorship activities through sponsorship prospecting proposal evaluation and contract recommendations and servicing
- Evaluate marketing and advertising needs for use in agreements with Commercial Services sponsorship partners
- Using specific business verticals generate targeted segments and contact lists for Business Relationship and Commercial Lending teams
- Improve product marketability and profitability by researching identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
- Understand the competitive landscape and identify strategic opportunities and threats while staying current on market trends. This includes ongoing competitor research and evaluation.
- Manage Hispanic outreach efforts for the organization
- Research and make recommendations for special projects
- Maintain a working knowledge of direct marketing best practices
- Maintain a working knowledge of Credit Unions products and lending standards
- Represent the Credit Union at community events as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or related field required Masters degree preferred. 0-3 years of experience managing marketing campaigns and efforts. Preferably some financial industry experience. Excellent project management analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize meet deadlines and manage changing priorities with limited direction. Experience using marketing campaign management tools. Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.
Performance Standard:
High level of professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage expectations. Ability to analyze member needs develop and coordinate marketing activities to fit member needs with Credit Union products and services. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU. Team member will be asked to work extended/unique hours.
Physical Requirements:
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork filing stapling sorting collating typing counting cash etc.).
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper cash drawers marketing material etc.
- Repetitive motion using wrists hands and fingers.
- Reach keyboards.
- Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator computer telephone copy machine fax machine etc.).
