We are seeking a kind dependable caregiver or Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a friendly client with cerebral palsy. This role focuses on companionship engaging activities and light personal care support during afternoon hours.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and helping someone stay active and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and friendly conversation
- Play games participate in activities and encourage engagement
- Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
- Assist with transfers on and off the toilet
- Help with laundry and light household tasks related to the client
- Support a safe and positive daily routine
Ideal Caregiver
- Patient friendly and dependable
- Comfortable assisting with personal care
- Enjoys conversation games and activities
- Experience with caregiving DSP or home care preferred
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or personal care experience required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to provide respectful personal care assistance
