Overview
The Compliance & Community Impact Administrator Summer Meals reports to the Programs and Services department. This position supports the Summer Meals Program through compliance review and management throughout the entirety of the program and program impact survey implementation. This position works closely with other part time and seasonal staff to accomplish all distribution and reporting associated with Food Bank service compliance and reporting.
This is a full-time in-person temporary position beginning May 18 and continuing through September 4 2026. Workdays are Monday Friday approximately 8AM 4PM. Unpaid time-off requests evaluated on a case-by-case pay rate is $22.50/hr.
Specific Responsibilities
The Compliance & Community Impact Administrator Summer Meals will work closely with the Childrens Program Coordinator and Summer Meals Program Administrator to ensure all compliance and impact work related to the Summer Meals Program is on track. They will also oversee and direct the Summer Meals Program Associate specifically with regards to monitoring surveys and follow up activities.

They will also oversee and direct the Summer Meals Program Associate specifically with regards to monitoring surveys and follow up activities.
- Manage schedule and conduct monitoring visits of partner sites for compliance with programmatic requirements including issue resolution and follow-up
- Includes pre-operation visits for new sites 1st week visits for new sites and returning sites with issues from the previous year and at least one operation visit for a selection of the remaining sites
- Manage schedule and conduct on-site parent surveys to assist in evaluating the Summer Meals Program impact and effectiveness
- Assign monitoring and survey site visits to The Summer Meals Program Associate(s) and oversee completion
- Monitor the receipt of the weekly service number reporting and follow up with partners missing reporting keeping the Childrens Program Coordinator informed of non-compliant sites
- Complete data entry and other administrative needs of the program for the duration.
- Assist Childrens program coordinator as needed
- Act as a backup van driver for last minute meal pickups at the caterer and deliveries to partner sites as needed
- Act as a backup van driver for shelf stable deliveries as needed
- Perform other duties as requested
- Assist other temporary positions as needed

Qualifications and education requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience 3 years minimum; food bank experience a plus
- Must have a valid unrestricted drivers license (not probational temporary or jr.) and 3 years of clean driving experience; any offer of employment is conditioned on ability to be covered under the food banks vehicle insurance
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (especially Teams and Excel)
- Experience working in food insecurity or related non-profit environment
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Serve Safe SFH Certification preferred (can be certified on the job)
