Position Summary:

The Advanced Service Tech Level 4 repeatedly demonstrates proficient technical intellect performing electrical mechanical fabrication and pressurized fluid system tasks. Exhibits an advanced aptitude and understanding of schematics/blueprints material properties and analytical thinking. Frequently leads troubleshooting initiatives to identify and correct root cause(s) to problems. Troubleshoots multiple equipment types able to effectively train others on their operation and holds a thorough comprehension of Rx principles. Demonstrates a clear sense of urgency strong communication skills (written and verbal) and effective collaboration with cross functional teams. Credibly serves as company liaison while working with external vendors and suppliers. A staunch advocate of Reliability Excellence who promotes and demonstrates full compliance of standardized practices and safety policies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strict adherence to Swageloks General Housekeeping & Safety Practices and Policies
  • Proper use of Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and Hazard Communication
  • Efficiently repairs/replaces faulty machine components and escalates when necessary
  • Accurate utilization of precision measuring instruments and mathematical principles
  • Detailed recording of investigative findings actions taken results and time in CMMS
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot across multiple equipment types
  • Skilled at rigging securing and transporting machine components
  • Levels and aligns equipment independently and trains others
  • Adept at performing maintenance tasks per Swageloks Operations Manual and trains others
  • Comprehensive understanding of production equipment operation and how it impacts product quality and production efficiency
  • Diagnoses electrical mechanical pressurized fluid system and filtration problems separate from process and escalates
  • Proficient in fabrication soldering welding and machining equipment in order to construct/repair work centers
  • Recognizes problems in electrical schematics and/or mechanical blueprints
  • Develops initiates improvements and trains others on: PM Docs Standard Work and BOMs
  • Proficiently uses Predictive Technologies (i.e. vibration analysis multi-meters push-pull testers)
  • Habitually uses Root Cause Analysis tools to solve complex equipment issues
  • Highly resourceful and active participant of foundational lean events
  • Operational knowledge of Numeric Controls Computer Numeric Controls Human Manual Interface Programmable Logic Controls
  • Leads and actively participates in shift start up meetings

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable maintenance and/or technical experience.
    • Technical degree is equivalent to 2 years experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook)
  • Certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment with minimum of 2 years experience.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards.
  • Lift push pull or carry weight no less than 35lbs. however occasionally up to 50lbs lift push pull or carry.
  • Must be capable of being on foot for up to 8-12 hours a day.
  • Capable of squatting need and reach.
  • Must be capable of obtaining Respirator Certification through medical evaluation and fit testing.
  • Travel to other facilities and vendors as required for training and/or support
