Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct Vincennes University dual credit cybersecurity courses to high school students.
- Develop and deliver engaging hands-on lessons aligned with postsecondary standards.
- Integrate industry best practices and tools into curriculum and instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning communities (PLCs).
- Foster an inclusive supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Communicate regularly with students parents/guardians and staff regarding student success and progress.
- Obtain theIndiana Workplace Specialist Licensethrough the Indiana Department of Education during the first year of employment.
Minimum Qualifications (must meet one of the following):
- 1. Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a closely related field plus: A relevant industry-recognized certification (e.g. CompTIA Security CISSP CEH etc.) or A minimum of two years of documented relevant industry experience:
- 2. A Masters degree in a non-related field plus: Five or more years of relevant industry experience and A recognized industry certification in cybersecurity or a related area
Licensing Requirement:Selected candidate must obtain the Indiana Workplace Specialist License within the first year of employment (support will be provided).
