Job Summary

Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) job in Massillon Ohio.

What Youll Do

Provide group treatment for youth with court orders or clinically assessed need.
Provide individual one-on-one therapy sessions for assigned youth on the mental health caseload.
Provide clinical summaries and reports of youth progress or barriers to progress.
Ensure meticulous completion of all necessary documentation.
Collaborate closely with BHS to facilitate seamless service delivery.

What Youll Need

Bachelors Degree
Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) by the Ohio Counselor Work Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
Experience in providing group and individual therapy to adolescents. Preference for those clinicians with experience working with adolescents who are justice-system involved.

Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility summary:

The Indian River Juvenile Correctional Facility is a state-operated residential facility in Ohio for youth who have been adjudicated for delinquent or criminal behavior. It provides secure custody while focusing on rehabilitation education and behavioral development. The facility offers structured programs that include academic instruction vocational training and life skills development as well as mental health and substance abuse counseling. Interdisciplinary teams of behavioral health professionals educators and case managers work with residents to develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving social emotional and cognitive skills.
