Position Details:
Job Title : EDS Senior Associate Data Engineer
Department : Enablement Decision Sciences
Experience and Qualification:
- Over 5 years of experience as a data analyst or data engineer.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
Specific Role requirements
- Create develop and maintain scalable and efficient big data processing pipelines within distributed computing environments.
- Design develop and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to the needs of different business units.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and design suitable data solutions.
- Execute data ingestion processing and transformation workflows to facilitate various analytical and machine learning applications.
- Keep updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data processing and analytics integrating them into our data engineering methodologies.
- Possess expertise in data modelling data warehousing principles data governance best practices and ETL processes.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong capabilities in documentation presentation and data storytelling.
- Have experience in utilizing and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) and developing generative AI solutions.
Technology Requirement:
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Competent in using Azure Databricks.
- Solid understanding of Azure data engineering tools particularly Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Python programming skills.
- Nice to have Power BI and other Power Platform tools including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Knowledge of large language models and generative AI tools is beneficial
- Experience in a multi-cloud environment is advantageous.
