Job Summary
CMAs Toyota of Lexington Park has an opportunity for an Express/ Quick Lube Technician. This position is a gateway to the Career Path to become a Certified Toyota Master Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in an Automotive Technology Program or 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance as outlined on repair orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Diagnose vehicle issues based on customer concerns and thorough inspections.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department to source necessary components.
- Save and tag warranty parts or customer-requested items for review.
- Conduct safety and service checks to identify additional work needed or recommended.
- Create and share video multi-point inspections with service advisors to support transparency and upselling.
- Document all work performed and recommendations clearly on repair orders.
- Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality control.
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and stay current with technical bulletins.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and customer vehicles.
- Ensure proper use and return of dealership-owned tools and manuals.
- Comply with all federal state and local regulations including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of formal education in Automotive Technology through high school trade school or community college.
- 12 years of hands-on experience in a similar automotive technician role.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Valid Maryland drivers license and clean driving record.
