Job Summary

Job Summary
Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church is seeking a fulltime Maintenance Worker responsible for the general maintenance repair and upkeep of parish buildings and grounds while supporting a safe clean and welcoming environment consistent with the mission of the Catholic Church.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs for church school and parish facilities
- Maintain cleanliness of buildings including restrooms classrooms offices and common areas
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Assist with room setups and breakdowns for parish events liturgies and meetings
- Maintain parish grounds including lawn care snow removal and exterior upkeep
- Monitor and report facility issues requiring professional repair
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and policies
- Collaborate with parish staff and vendors as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous maintenance custodial or facilities experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical carpentry and general repairs
- Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- Ability to lift move and perform physical labor as required
- Commitment to supporting the mission of the Catholic Church
Employment Status:
Fulltime hourly position
