Overview
We are seeking an Account Director to join ourteam.In thispositionyoureresponsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of your accounts while coaching and supporting more junior employees. We expect account directors to be well-versed in integrated marketing and communications opportunities that can help better support and address our clients growing needs.
This person will play an active role inadditionalefforts outside day-to-day account work including new business agency marketing employee development and coachingtrainings etc.
Responsibilities
- Act as a day-to-dayclientlead contact driving implementation of strategy and tactics.
- Develop integrated communications programs for clients that encompass cross-channel opportunities.
- Identifyclients growing needs and align with existing agency offerings.
- Manage account teams to drive results for clients and continuously evaluate overall account success against KPIs.
- Monitor and track account budgets and account teams hours against scopes of work on a mid-month and monthly basis.
- Oversee development and implementation of integrated strategies providing direction and support for account managers and senior account executives.
- Contribute to Allisonsculture (ex:employee experience DEI professional development).
- Outline roles and responsibilities for the account teams and re-evaluate regularly.
- Coach account team members and direct reports (if applicable) to strengthen and develop skillsets.
- Identify new business opportunities andplaysa leadership role in RFP responses pitchpreparationand presentations.
- Promote and uphold Allisons core values;participatesin agency-wide training and professional development programs.
Qualifications
- Requires prior experience as a managersupervisoror director in public relationsmarketingora relatedfield.Account Directors at Allisontypically have a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Expertiseinconsumer or corporate s health experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the editorial and social media landscape withanability to advise account teams on best practices in storytelling.
- Prior experience in budget management preferred.
- Creative problem-solver deft inidentifyinggreater opportunities for integration between departments and teams.
- Results-drivenwithabilityto deliver comprehensive measurement programs for clients.
- Experience in team/account management as well as direct management preferred.

Compensation
In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is$90K-$135K. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set level of experience and location.
