Job Summary
DeKalb Motor Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our dealership team as a full-time License & Title Agent. This position handles all facets of motor vehicle paperwork. This role is ideal for someone with prior dealership experience who is looking to grow their skills within an organized and supportive team.

Responsibilities
- Review and process all vehicle tax title and registrations via CVR in accordance with Illinois Secretary of State guidelines.
- Process any out-of-state title paperwork via ATC.
- Verify all deal paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
- Process trade payoffs documentation and title status follow-up.
- Using Ally Floorplan floor incoming trade vehicles and payoff sold units.
- Communicate with lenders customers and internal departments regarding title status.
- Enter used vehicle purchases into inventory.
- Post all wholesale deals into accounting and provide wholesaler with titles after payment has been received.
- Maintain organized schedules and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end accounting processes.
Qualifications
- 2 years of automotive dealership experience (license & title billing or accounting preferred)
- Understanding of financial concepts including accounts receivable/payable journal entries account reconciliation and double entry bookkeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines.
- CDK experience preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Submit to and successfully complete MVR background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Professional personal appearance.
