Job Summary
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our Client a Karachi based company seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:
Junior Management Position Operations
- Supervise receipts of POL product and activities related to quantity and quality to ensure stocks inventory management
- Liaison with customs/supply department/refineries/port authority/relevant agencies and central Lab regarding product quantity and quality
- To take daily measurements of quantity temperature and other relevant details of products prepare stock and submit to immediate superior to avoid any discrepancies of product quality and quantity
- Supervise arrangements of timely and safe dispatches of products through tank lorries and tank wagon for uninterrupted operation
- Monitor quantity and quality temperature and other relevant details of products
- Ensure compliance of HSE requirements for all activities related to Receipt for safe and smooth operations
- Assist the internal and External Auditors in physical verification of stocks audit of records and study of procedures
- Undertake any other task or function as may be desired by the management
Education
- Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution or equivalent foreign degree holder preferably BE/BS/BSC in Electrical/ Electronics/Mechanical engineering or related field
Experience
- Minimum 3 - 4 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role
Requirements
- Knowledge of operations management
- Excellent analytical problem solving and organisational skills
- Coordinating and monitoring issues related to operations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the operations process
