Job Summary:
This position is an integral part of our childcare team supporting the lead teachers in creating a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. The role will involve assisting in daily activities maintaining a clean and organized classroom and ensuring the well-being of all children under your care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and work well with young children and families challenged by economic and social problems and of varying racial/ethnic backgrounds.
- Commitment to collaborative classroom teaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience empathy and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
