Job Summary

This is an On the Road position serving Joliet IL and the surrounding area. Local travel is required 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

Identify damage missing parts and mechanical problems by inspecting all repo/lease vehicles (i.e. interior exterior odometer reading trunk area engine compartment noting any damage or repair to frame paint or other engine noise AC/heater operation radio tire condition etc.)
Document vehicle condition by completing appropriate Condition Report (CR) taking digital pictures and computer data entry in a timely manner.
Prepare selected vehicles for Internet viewing by taking digital pictures during the inspection process and writing Condition reports.
May occasionally be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Competencies/Skills

Valid Drivers License and safe driving record required
Basic computer and tablet skills required. Familiarity with tablets is a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand walk reach talk and hear
Frequently required to stoop kneel crouch and climb
Works outside and drives in all weather conditions
Essential visual functions of this role may include the ability to perceive close distance and color vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus with or without reasonable accommodation.

Required education:

High school or equivalent

Required licenses or certifications:

Drivers License
Clean driving record
Must be 21 and over for insurance purposes
