Job Summary
MICDS is accepting applications for a Varsity Assistant Cheerleading must meet Missouri State High School Athletic Association requirements for position and Sports First Aid requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior coaching or playing experience enthusiasm for leading student athletes and strong athletic and personal references.
This position is a part-time position that is not benefit eligible. However the position can be combined with a full-time classroom teaching positionin a subject area that coincides with our current needsin which case a very competitive and extensive benefit package will be included.
Duties Include
- Effectively supervise design and run practices.
- Foster the growth of the student-athletes.
- Model program values and reinforce them through modeling and teaching.
- Travel as needed for contests.
- Assist in an off-season program.
- Work with our Head Cheerleading Coach to continue to promote cheerleadingon our campus which may include summer camp opportunities.

- A criminal history and background check is required and must be successfully completed prior to employment
