Shift Details:
- Schedule: 4 days per week
- Hours: 10:00 AM 8:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Total Hours: 40 hours per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Combined Procedural Unit (CPU). This hybrid role requires experience across ICU Pre-Operative and PACU settings providing comprehensive patient care throughout the procedural continuum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Assist physicians during procedures and recovery phases
- Provide pre-operative intra-procedural and post-anesthesia (PACU) care
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and monitor patient responses
- Manage patient flow and prioritize care based on acuity
- Document care in accordance with clinical standards and protocols
- Support evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Active RN License (New Jersey or Compact State)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in:
- Critical Care (ICU)
- Pre-Operative
- PACU / Recovery
- Strong telemetry background (Telemetry certification required)
- Experience working in an acute hospital setting
- Certifications required:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 3 years of PACU experience
- Experience working in hybrid procedural units
