Your work profile
- Install configure and maintainOracle E-Business Suite (R12/R12.2)environments
- Administer Oracle Databases (11g / 12c / 19c) supporting EBS
- Perform EBS administration tasks including:
- Patching (AD TXK Online Patching ADOP)
- Cloning (Production Test Development)
- Environment refreshes
- Manage EBS application tier and database tier
- Monitor system performance and conduct tuning for:
- Database
- Concurrent Managers
- Workflow Mailer
- Forms and Web services
- Perform backup and recovery using RMAN
- Apply security best practices:
- User access control
- Password policies
- SSL certificates
- Support EBS upgrades migrations and technology stack upgrades
- Work with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot issues
- Manage capacity planning storage and system availability
- Document procedures and provide operational support.
Key skills required
- Bachelors or masters degree or related fields.
- 38 years of hands-on experience as Oracle EBS DBA
- Strong experience with:
- Oracle EBS R12 / R12.2
- Oracle Database administration
- Expertise in:
- ADOP online patching
- EBS cloning
- Performance tuning
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Experience with shell scripting and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle DBA / EBS certification
- Experience with:
- RAC
