Compensation Range:
- $47.08/hr Entry Level (08 years experience)
- $58.85/hr Mid-Level (915 years experience)
- $68.90/hr Senior/Expert (1621 years experience)
Job Summary
The Director of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all imaging services. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards while driving excellence in patient care staff performance and departmental efficiency. The Director will lead teams optimize workflows manage budgets and implement best practices to enhance overall performance and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging department
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
- Lead mentor and develop technologists and supervisory staff
- Manage departmental budgets inventory and resource allocation
- Optimize scheduling staffing models and workflow efficiency
- Implement and maintain quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians and executive leadership to improve clinical outcomes
- Drive patient satisfaction and service excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate Degree (required)
- ARRT Certification (required)
- Minimum 5 years of diagnostic imaging experience
- Minimum 1 year of Director-level leadership experience in imaging (required)
- Strong leadership operational and interpersonal communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance accreditation standards and imaging best practices
