Job Title: Salesforce Release Manager
Location: Pleasanton CA (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Release Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce configuration release management processes and deployment tools like Copado. This role will play a critical part in a Salesforce reimplementation initiative and ensure smooth migration across environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate Salesforce release management lifecycle including planning scheduling and deployment.
- Oversee migration of components and data across Salesforce environments (Dev QA UAT Production).
- Utilize Copado for CI/CD version control and automated deployments.
- Collaborate with developers admins QA teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth releases.
- Support Salesforce reimplementation efforts ensuring best practices and minimal disruption.
- Perform and manage Salesforce configurations (workflows flows validation rules etc.).
- Ensure governance compliance and proper documentation of release processes.
- Identify risks and dependencies and proactively mitigate release issues.
- Maintain release calendars and communicate release status to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Salesforce Release Management.
- Hands-on experience with Copado or similar DevOps tools.
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce configuration (Sales Cloud preferred).
- Experience in environment management and migration between Salesforce orgs.
- Proven experience in Salesforce implementation or reimplementation projects.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Excellent communication coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Administrator Platform App Builder DevOps-related).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prior experience in large-scale Salesforce transformation or reimplementation projects.
