Job Summary
Job Title: Civil Site Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction including at least 8 years in substation projects
OR - Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of experience including at least 10 years in substation projects
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage one or more construction sites with full accountability
- Plan and execute construction of substation developments
- Ensure adherence to Qatar’s construction standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate effectively among contractors across civil MEP and electrical disciplines
- Follow up on design-related issues and ensure timely resolution
- Supervise civil contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality progress and compliance
- Issue formal notices regarding delays and respond professionally to contractor communications
- Review material submittals method statements and risk assessments
- Prepare and submit all required site documentation to Consultant and Client
- Monitor construction progress quality standards and safety measures
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and achievement of project milestones
- Work under pressure and extended hours when required
- Maintain high levels of professionalism responsibility and dedication
