Executive Chef Luxury Island Resort Seychelles

Salary: Negotiable DOE Live-in Position

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an exceptional Executive Chef for a prestigious luxury hotel group based on a remote island in the Seychelles. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly experienced culinary professional to lead a dynamic team across multiple dining venues delivering world-class innovative dining experiences in one of the most breathtaking locations globally.

This role is best suited to a candidate who is well accustomed to remote environments understands the complexities of island logistics and thrives in a setting that demands creativity adaptability and strong leadership. The successful candidate will oversee three restaurants three bars and cater to 50 luxury villas creating memorable and meaningful guest experiences through cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead inspire and develop a high-performing culinary team

Design and implement innovative world-class menus across all dining outlets

Oversee daily kitchen operations including stock control procurement and budgeting

Manage and navigate logistical challenges associated with remote island living

Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene health and food safety

Foster a culture of collaboration mentorship and continuous development

Engage with guests to deliver personalised and memorable dining experiences

Embrace and promote a philosophy of home-grown locally inspired and handcrafted cuisine

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef within high-end luxury resorts

Previous island or remote location experience is essential

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

Exceptional creativity and a passion for culinary excellence

Solid organisational logistical and time management skills

Up-to-date knowledge of global food trends and modern culinary techniques

Ability to adapt to local resources and work within a remote environment

A hands-on collaborative leadership style with strong guest interaction skills
