Community Outreach & Enrollment Specialist (Houston Area)

Job Summary
We are looking for a communityminded professional who enjoys meeting new people building relationships and helping young adults take meaningful steps toward their future. This role blends field outreach eligibility guidance case follow-up and structured performance expectations.
You will represent our program throughout your assigned county at schools events community centers local businesses youth organizations and anywhere young adults gather. Youll also guide prospective students through the early stages of enrollment ensuring they understand program requirements and complete all needed steps accurately and on time.
This is a hybrid position: time in the field time online and time working remotely.
Your work directly contributes to monthly enrollment and arrival outcomes.
Community Outreach Engagement & Partnerships
- Build and maintain ongoing partnerships with schools youth programs community centers social service agencies local businesses etc.
- Participate in and often lead outreach events presentations info sessions tabling festivals and community fairs.
- Maintain a consistent monthly outreach schedule and meet required activity levels.
- Promote opportunities to underserved and underrepresented groups in your area.
Lead Generation & Eligibility Preparation
- Introduce the program to young adults and help them determine if they meet basic eligibility criteria (age income background education status etc.).
- Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy when collecting personal information.
- Accurately enter new leads into tracking systems and ensure they are complete valid and documented.
- Follow up quickly with every lead to maintain momentum.
Application Conversion Follow-Up & Documentation
- Guide prospective applicants step-by-step until they are ready to begin their application.
- Maintain consistent contact with your pipeline through calls texts emails and facetoface meetings.
- Keep thorough and timely notes in all required online systems.
- Ensure applicants understand expectations deadlines and next steps.
- Support the team in achieving high conversion from leads applicants arrivals.
Accountability Technology & Performance Standards
This is a goaldriven role with clear expectations including:
- Meeting monthly activity minimums (events partnerships lead interactions)
- Maintaining accurate and timely data in digital systems
- Following eligibility and documentation guidelines
- Supporting monthly enrollment and arrival outcomes
- Maintaining professional communication with partners applicants and families
Your success is measured by both your outreach activity and the quality of your followthrough.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of a 2year degree required (Bachelors preferred)
- Experience in community outreach youth engagement sales customer service recruiting or similar fields.
- Strong comfort with online systems digital communication and data entry.
- Ability to work independently with strong followthrough and time management.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel daily within your assigned county.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality accuracy and professionalism at all times.
Compensation
- ($39499.20) annual salary
- Monthly incentive/bonus opportunities based on individual and team performance
- Mileage reimbursement
- Hybrid schedule field remote and some office-based work

Additional Information :
This executive will be vital in expanding APMs footprint in government and commercial markets by winning high-quality contracts. Success in this role will be driven by strategic insight operational excellence and leadership in proposal management.
This is an individual contributor role and does not have any direct reports. The Lead may from time to time be required to support work in other regions. Domestic and international travel of approximately 2030% may be required.

Extensive standing and sitting and continuous computer phone and deskwork required. Work will be primarily in a defined office environment with specified hours. Will require one on one and group interaction with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Must be available for occasional out of office meetings conferences training and other events as needed.
