Job Summary
Role:
- Consulting in the area of WebSphere infrastructure on zOS/Mainframe
Description of Activities:
- Support and administration of IBM WebSphere including WebSphere Application Server Liberty on z/OS
- Technical planning for deploying new application releases on WAS according to ITIL within the project
- Support and technical consulting for applications in troubleshooting or implementing adjustments and extensions
- Administration of applications across various WebSphere profiles on z/OS
- Enhancement and creation of scripts to support operations within the project
Qualifications :
Operating Systems:
- Windows Unix (basic knowledge of command line and GUI)
- IBM WebSphere Application Server (Classic Liberty) Apache Tomcat
- Version Control Systems (CVS Subversion)
- Development Environments (IBM Rational Software Development Platform Eclipse NetBeans)
Certifications:
- IBM / IBM Certified System Administrator WebSphere Application Server
- ITIL / ITIL V4 Foundation
Databases:
- Oracle DB IBM DB2 MySQL
Programming Languages:
- Java J2SE (JSP JSPF JSTL)
- PHP Smarty
- SQL
- HTML XHTML CSS JavaScript jQuery
- Perl
- Shell/Bash SED AWK Python
Methods / Technologies:
- IBM WebSphere Classic and Liberty DB2 Unix scripting Bash z/OS / 3270 Java/XML RACF
