Job Summary
Were seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major pharmaceutical construction project. You will act as the Owners Representative driving construction execution across design procurement safety quality cost schedule commissioning and close-out.
PreConstruction
Support project stage gate reviews and budgeting.
Coordinate schedules estimates design activities and constructability reviews.
Assist with contract negotiations and permitting.
Drive value engineering and manage early scope gaps/changes.
Construction
Lead contractor and vendor management on-site.
Oversee change control cost reviews and schedule reporting.
Ensure strong document control QA/QC processes and issue resolution.
Provide early warnings on budget schedule and risk.
Commissioning
Act as key liaison between commissioning teams contractors and owner stakeholders.
Close-Out
Initiate and manage project close-out snag lists and documentation.
Finalise change orders quality issues invoices warranties and O&M materials.
Support final project accounting.
Health Safety & Wellbeing
Champion HSE standards compliance and company safety initiatives.
People
Mentor team members and maintain your own professional development.
Qualifications :
A degree in civil engineering architecture or a related discipline.
Proven professional experience in the relevant fields including strong expertise in pharmaceutical/semi-conductor construction.
Experience in leading or comanaging complex largescale projects and programmes.
Extensive knowledge of modern leadership practices paired with excellent communication presentation and facilitation skills as well as a balance of assertiveness and empathy.
Fluent German and English language skills both written and spoken.
Confident use of MS Office applications and spreadsheet tools.
