Responsibilities:
As part of the CLO US team the primary activities for the Portfolio Analyst will include but not limited to:
Transaction Management
- Review and validate monthly and quarterly trustee reporting including investor payments and distributions
- Analyze CLO portfolios to conduct cash flow modeling stress testing and waterfall calculations
- Monitor performance and produce detailed reports to inform PMs and identify areas of improvements
- Support CLO life-cycle including warehouses new issuance effective dates resets refinancings and liquidations
- Oversee processes including closings advances reconciliation reporting compliance testing and waterfalls
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Legal Finance Risk Compliance and IT
- Mentoring junior team members
Loan Trading
- Assist traders with trade confirmations allocations settlements pricing and amendment executions
- Maintain our trading position and compliance platforms (Allvue WSO ClearPar)
- Review trade documents and coordinate electronic signatures for execution by the PMs
Business Development
- Create marketing materials for potential and existing investor clients
- Assist in the preparation/completion of investor requests
- Track and monitor the desks P&L and reconcile with finance teams
Profile:
- Preference for a bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or Mathematics or other relevant degrees. CFA or Masters degree is a plus.
- 8 years of prior experience in CLO operations and management
- Deep understanding of CLO mechanics indenture interpretation and waterfall structures
- Demonstrate a strong analytical written and oral communication skills
- Must be comfortable with Excel Word and PowerPoint. Experience with Allvue CDO Suite Bloomberg Intex is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
