PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: Up to 50000 depending on relevant skills knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
Oversee forward planning and coordination of vehicle maintenance and compliance across transport bases
Ensure all fleet vehiclesfrom pool cars to large OB trucksremain roadworthy efficient and cost effective
Liaise with suppliers to secure timely high quality and value driven services
Act as named Transport Manager on the Operator Licence for relevant traffic areas
Collaborate with operational leaders to meet changing production and broadcasting requirements
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE KEY CRITERIA
Essential:
Strong experience managing statutory compliance within complex or regulated transport environments
Proven ability to operate strategically while solving operational problems hands on
Excellent communication and influencing skills able to tailor complex information for varied stakeholders
Experience managing regulated vehicle operating centres and driver hours frameworks
Demonstrable practical experience ensuring maintenance and roadworthiness of large vehicles
Desirable:
Certificate of Professional Competence for Transport Managers (Road Haulage) Level 3
IOSH NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualifications
Understanding of programme making or newsgathering operational needs
CE driving licence
Experience promoting and supporting sustainable transport approaches
