What You Will Get To Do:
- Own and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle across development test staging and production environments.
- Lead release planning cycles including calendars cutover planning and deployment readiness assessments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of release commitments.
- Conduct release risk assessments and enforce governance and change management controls.
- Oversee incident management post-release validation and continuous improvement actions.
- Act as the escalation point for release blockers environment constraints and conflicting priorities.
- Drive standardisation optimisation and automation of release processes and tooling.
- Provide clear communication and reporting on release status risks and impacts.
- Lead governance forums and represent Release Management in CAB meetings.
What You Will Bring:
- Extensive experience in Release Management DevOps or technical delivery roles.
- Strong understanding of SDLC CI/CD pipelines and configuration management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-stream enterprise releases.
- Experience with governance frameworks risk management and change controls.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure release windows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Prior Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms enterprise infrastructure and security controls.
- Exposure to environment governance versioning and release automation.
- Experience supporting audit regulatory and operational risk requirements.
- Background in high-paced regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior release managers.
