• Level II: Estimated hourly base pay: $24.52 (minimum) - $31.73 (midpoint) - $39.43 (maximum)

• Level III: Estimated hourly base pay: $28.85 (minimum) - $37.50 (midpoint) - $46.15 (maximum)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC Systems: Executes the installation of heating ventilation and air conditioning systems following established procedures and specifications.

• Perform Maintenance: Conducts regular maintenance tasks to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and reliably.

• Conduct Preventative Maintenance: Develops and carries out routine maintenance schedules for HVAC equipment to enhance system reliability and extend operational lifespan.

• Mentor Junior Technicians: Provides expert guidance and support to less experienced team members fostering skill development and ensuring high quality workmanship within the team.

• Optimize Technical Processes: Evaluates and refines existing HVAC procedures and methodologies contributing to improved efficiency and effectiveness in system operations

• Diagnose Issues: Identifies and resolves typical HVAC system problems using established analytical methods and standard operating procedures.

• Collaborate with Team: Works with team members to support project objectives and ensure high quality service delivery.

• Document Activities: Records maintenance activities and service reports to maintain accurate operational records.

• HVAC System Installation: Proficient in installing various HVAC systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.

• Project Management: Capable of managing and overseeing HVAC projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision.

• Regulatory Compliance: In depth knowledge of HVAC related codes standards and regulations to ensure all work meets legal requirements.

• Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develops and implements effective preventive maintenance schedules to enhance system performance and longevity.

• Preventative Maintenance: Skilled in performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning and longevity of HVAC equipment.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Adept at diagnosing and resolving complex HVAC system issues using established diagnostic methods.

• Blueprint Interpretation: Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics and blueprints for accurate system installation and repair.

• Refrigeration Systems: In depth knowledge of refrigeration cycles and handling refrigerants in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Electrical Wiring: Competent in installing and repairing electrical components related to HVAC systems including wiring and control systems.

• Safety Compliance: Thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.

• Customer Service: Effective in communicating with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide appropriate solutions.

• Tool Proficiency: Experienced in using a variety of HVAC tools and equipment for installation maintenance and repair tasks.

• Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately document work performed maintenance schedules and system modifications for recordkeeping and compliance purposes.

• Communication Skills: Skilled in explaining complex technical information clearly to team members and clients.

• Resource Coordination: Effectively coordinates team efforts and resources to achieve project goals and objectives.

• Problem Solving Expertise: Provides innovative solutions to unique and complex HVAC challenges based on existing procedures and precedents.

Other Qualifications:

• EPA Section 608 Certification or equivalent required

Additional Requirements:

Physical activity requires agility and dexterity including walking standing or bending; and lifting or moving is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions such as wearing protective clothing or gear. Work is performed in tight spaces repeated kneeling is involved frequently working in extreme temperatures.

Successful Candidates Typically Have:

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repair of commercial HVAC units

• Knowledge and experience in preventative maintenance of 40-ton chiller units boilers

• Experience using and working with Trane HVAC monitoring system

• Journeyman experience
