Job Summary
USA Environmental is seeking two (2) UXO Technician Is for its long-term project at Ft. Johnson in Louisiana (Formerly known as Ft. Polk.). This projects work schedule is two (2) weeks onsite; and two (2) weeks offsite. The project work hours are six (6) 10-hour workdays.
**This is a long-term project; therefore a minimum of a one-year commitment is preferred**
The next rotation dates are April 21 2026 - May 8 2026 . Subsequent rotation dates will be scheduled on a consistent bi-weekly basis.
Qualifications Training and Experience: The following minimum qualifications training and experience requirements must be met or exceeded to qualify for assignment to this position:
U.S. Citizen unless exception approved by the U.S. Government;
Valid state drivers license;
Ability to handle in a safe manner the vehicle assigned to drive within and in the vicinity of the site;
Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States Canada Great Britain Germany or Australia or Graduate of a UXO-TI Course or the EOD assistants course;
On-the-job training including but not limited to familiarity with the process procedures and equipment (e.g. geophysical) used for conducting MEC-related activities;
Never been removed from a MEC assignment for personnel reliability reasons or unsatisfactory performance of duties substantiated by official documentation
