Location:GreenvilleSC
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details

  • Day Shift: 5x8 Hours (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
  • On-call:
    • 1 night per week
    • Every 7th weekend

Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist performs specialized imaging and assists physicians with minimally invasive image-guided procedures. This role requires strong technical expertise patient care skills and adherence to safety and clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during interventional and special procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for IR procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment to support diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond appropriately
  • Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols
  • Administer and manage contrast media as required
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
  • Utilize medication dispensing systems appropriately
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Float to other units or campuses as required based on competency

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures experience
  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Active South Carolina state license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior travel experience (first-time travelers considered based on experience)
