Job Summary

St. Luke Catholic School in Indianapolis Indiana is a Kindergarten through 8th grade elementary school seeking a dynamic faith-filled and innovative STEM Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering an engaging hands-on Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. This teacher will create a structured supportive and dynamic learning environment that challenges all learners to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement a comprehensive STEM curriculum aligned with state standards and school goals
-Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate lessons for students in grades K8
-Incorporate technology engineering design coding and problem-based learning into instruction
-Integrate STEM concepts across subject areas and collaborate with classroom teachers
-Promote digital citizenship and responsible use of technology
-Participate in school events faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
-Maintain a positive respectful and faith-centered classroom environment
Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Education STEM field or related area
-Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain licensure)
-Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students preferred
-Strong background in technology integration coding engineering or robotics preferred
-Knowledge of STEM instructional best practices and project-based learning
