Job Description:

Stanley Black & Decker seeks a Sr. Industrial Designer to join our Suzhou team contributing to the innovation and execution of world-class products for our global brands including Stanley DEWALT CRAFTSMAN and more. You will play a key role in the end-to-end design process from user research and concept ideation to final surfacing and digital prototyping collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the industrial design and concept development of new products delivering compelling proposals hand sketches high-fidelity renderings and 3D models.
• Conduct user research market analysis and trend forecasting to inform design direction and ensure alignment with brand strategy and user needs.
• Translate insights into innovative manufacturable solutions that balance aesthetics ergonomics and cost-effectiveness.
• Present and communicate design concepts clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners incorporating feedback efficiently. Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and marketing teams to resolve design challenges and ensure seamless transition from concept to production.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design workflows tools and best practices within the department.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in industrial design or related field (985/211 universities preferred).
• 58 years of professional experience in industrial design with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful product launches (experience in power tools outdoor tools or small appliances preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling and surfacing software (e.g. Rhino KeyShot CATIA Pro-E).
• Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of design principles color theory materials and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to independently manage resources and deliver high-quality design solutions within project timelines.
• Excellent sketching and rapid visualization skills to communicate design intent effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in user-centered design integrating customer feedback into product development.
• Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in multidisciplinary multicultural teams.
• High level of initiative accountability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

任职要求

• 工业设计或相关专业本科及以上学历985/211院校优先
• 58年工业设计相关工作经验具备成功产品上市作品集有电动工具户外工具小家电经验者优先
• 精通3D建模及表面建模软件如RhinoKeyShotCATIAPro-E
