Job Overview
The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction for the Double Hung Production department ensuring operational excellence through safety quality and productivity. They are accountable for building high-performing teams by hiring developing and motivating employees while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Highlights of your role
- Hire train and develop team members to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Mentor Assistant Supervisors and prepare them for roles of increased responsibility.
- Conduct performance evaluations provide feedback and administer corrective actions fairly and consistently.
- Foster a positive inclusive culture that promotes engagement and reduces turnover.
- Address employee concerns promptly andmaintainopen communication.
- Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor daily operations to achieve production quality and safety goals.
- Oversee cross-training and line balancing tooptimizeworkforce flexibility.
- Maintainaccuratedocumentation and reporting for department activities.
- Lead problem-solving efforts forescalatedissues and remove barriers to success.
- Drive strategic planning and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Investigate quality concernsidentifyroot causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate across departments to align resources and achieve companyobjectives.
- Promote a culture of safety and integrity by consistently following all safety protocols reporting hazards and engaging in training and initiatives.
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- 12 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
- Proventrack recordof meeting production quality and safety goals.
- Exposure tocross-functional collaboration and employee development.
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook etc.).
