Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist
Location: Cumming GA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (MondayFriday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM) with on-call requirements
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to support cardiac procedures in a specialized lab environment. The ideal candidate will assist physicians during electrophysiology studies and interventions while ensuring patient safety and accurate procedural support.
Key Responsibilities:
Procedural Support
- Assist in electrophysiology studies ablations and device implants
- Prepare and maintain sterile field during procedures
- Operate and monitor EP lab equipment
Patient Care
- Monitor patient vitals and cardiac rhythms during procedures
- Assist with patient preparation and recovery
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Technical Duties
- Operate imaging and mapping systems used in EP procedures
- Document procedural data accurately in EMR systems
- Troubleshoot equipment and assist in maintaining functionality
Collaboration
- Work closely with cardiologists nurses and cath lab staff
- Support efficient workflow within the EP lab
Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology or Cath Lab experience required
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Required
