About the role:
A career in Risk Management in a dynamic team that will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity-based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation including:

development of technical knowledge of a key area of firm regulatory risk.
The PwC Ireland Independence Team is part of the firms Risk & Quality group within Internal Firm Services that provides critical business support to the firm in a complex and changing regulatory environment. Itis responsible forworking with the practice across all Lines of Services to ensure that the firm meets its regulatory responsibilities as required under PwC Global Independence policy US SEC rules EU rules local Irish rules and other territories rules.
As a Specialistyoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.Youllfocus on promoting and monitoring compliance with the applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwCs regulatory litigation and reputational risk.
What youwill do:
Participation in the various Independence support systemsprocessesand activities
Collaborating with the Service DeliveryCenters(SDC) teams responsible for certain Independence processes and activities
Responding to Independence queries from partnersstaffand engagement teams across the firm promoting Independence knowledge sharing
Participating in team internal and/or business units training where
Monitoring compliance with Independence policiesprocessesand controls
Performing compliance testing over client engagement teams activities
Involvement with the innovation and development of Independence processes and PwC Global initiatives
Participation in ad hoc Independence projects
Who we are looking for:
Minimum 2yrs relevant experience in a similar environment.
Good business acumen and understanding of audit
Previousexperience in financial services or audit is an asset
High levelof accuracy attention to detail and experience in analysing data
Strong client service focus in dealing with partners and staff at all levels and areas of the firm
Demonstrated ability to work in a multitasked fast-paced and changing environment
Strong communicationskills both written and verbal
Good timeand project management skills
Good judgement andproblem solvingskills
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends and an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
