We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of high-availability API-driven applications through effective testing strategies and automation.

Hybrid role: Madrid Spain. This position requires visiting the clients office 2-3 times per week.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and execute automated and manual tests for high-availability API-enabled applications.
Validate application functionality performance and reliability within complex environments.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
Collaborate with development teams to identify troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent technical experience.
English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Strong proficiency in Java 17 (or higher) with Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation.
Experience working with Apache Tomcat.
Knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies.
Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
Experience with NoSQL databases.

Strong critical thinking and logical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
