Carilion Family Medicine- Waynesboro has a full time APP ( NP or PA) opportunity APP will assist physicians and other nursing personnel in the delivery of primary health care and patient care. Duties include but are not limited to: Assess plan and provide care to pediatric adult and geriatric patients. Perform patient examinations compile appropriate patient information and documentation. Review patient reports and make appropriate recommendations andrefill -Friday 8-5.
What We Require:
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Experience: 0
Licensure/Certification: Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP) DEA license and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required. AHA BLS-HCP certification required. Advanced Life Support certification preferred. Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
Minimum qualifications: Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers. Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills. Computer literacy required for automated computer systems including electronic medical records.
